Short shorts.
I recently came across some of my old photographs from the one year i studied photography at AS level and it brought back all the memories of how much i really enjoyed processing and developing my own film and photographs. my teachers were pretentious arse-holes but the facilities the sixth form college had to offer were magnificent, and don't regret failing all my other subjects due to being in the dark room all year round. i don't have a scanner of my own currently so i had to borrow a friends one which isn't the best so the quality isn't anywhere near the standard of the original photograph, but ah well here are some photos i'm quite proud of. I don't very often write much on this blog but me and my good friend Kieron Cummings are doing a joint exploration zine. which makes sense as we do absolutely everything together, and all we do is explore, take photographs and draw.
It will be an affordable completely black and white zine in which highlights mostly (as cringe as it sounds to say) the "urban exploration" of abandoned and disused areas.
We also made a point of walking EVERYWHERE, no matter how long the distance. More will be told in the zine.
All of my photos are 35mm black and white film.
and all of Kieron's are taken on a digital DSLR and printed in black and white.
This zine will have the best of both worlds.
